After the 1st appointment (initial assessment), we can discuss which approaches may be most practical for your needs, depending on the nature of goals, budget, etc.
Short-term therapy (under 6 sessions) can be provided for particularly time-bound issues/support.
Cognitive-Behavioural therapy usually requires 12-20 sessions dependent on goal, where as dialectical behavioural therapy usually lasts 1+ years.

Email is the best way to reach me as my phone is off for large chunks of the day while I am in-session!
If you need to have a phone call, shoot me an email first to coordinate a time.

Sometimes, we may not be a good fit for one another, and that’s okay! It may be that I don’t have the correct skillset to support your needs or maybe we just don’t vibe, it happens.
I’ll always try my best to connect you to a trusted colleague who may be able to better support your goals!

At this time, I am only able to offer individual psychotherapy.

Yes! Please reach out. Psychotherapy is like any other allied healthcare service in that you can meet with your therapist even if it’s been a while since our last meeting.

I will never approach clients in public out of respect for your confidentiality and comfort. However, if we happen to run into each other, we can totally say a quick hello if you are interested.

As long as sessions are quiet and confidential, virtual sessions can be held practically anywhere in Ontario! I may ask for your location at the beginning of session, just in case there is an emergency or safety concern.
Unfortunately at this time, I am not able to see clients when they are outside of Ontario.
In-person sessions are held at the Christie Integrated Health Centre.
